​All paintings are shipped worldwide via DHL Express with full insurance. Professional packaging ensures the artwork arrives intact and ready to hang. 

Each painting is stretched, painted on the sides, and includes hooks and steel cable for hanging. Frames are optional and can be purchased separately.

• Europe: 1–2 business days

• Worldwide: 4–8 business days

Please provide a phone number for the courier to contact you regarding delivery. While every effort is made to meet the estimated times, delays due to customs or other circumstances beyond control may occur.

Artwork Quality Guarantee (Commissions Only)

1. You select your size and color. Artwork is made to order; customization is available. Each painting is stretched, painted on the sides, and includes hooks and steel cable for hanging. Frames are optional and can be purchased separately.

2. You receive an order confirmation with details.

3. Creation time: 6–8 weeks depending on availability and complexity.

4. Prior to shipping (commissions only), images and video are sent for approval. If the artwork does not meet your vision, adjustments are made or a full refund is issued.

6. High-resolution images and a short video are sent before shipping for your approval.

7. Shipment proceeds only after your approval.

8. If adjustments are required, we work together to ensure the piece meets your vision.

9. If the vision cannot be met, a full refund will be issued.

10. Note: This applies only to commissioned works. Artworks already completed and available for purchase are shipped as-is.

Shipping Damage & Insurance

All paintings are fully insured during transit.

• Artwork damaged: Replacement or full refund provided.

• Frame damaged: Refund of the frame cost.

• Lost before delivery: Full refund.

• Lost after delivery: Buyer assumes responsibility; insurance does not cover.

Inspect packages immediately and provide whole and detailed photos if damage is present before open the packaging and take also pictures of the damaged content. Contact within 24 hours for insurance claims.

Returns & Refunds

Simeoni Art Studio ensures collector satisfaction while maintaining the integrity of each work.

• Returns are accepted only if the artwork is in its original condition and packaging.

• Return shipping, including insurance and tracking, is the responsibility of the collector.

• Refunds are issued upon receipt and inspection of the returned artwork. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

• Exchanges are available. Please contact us directly to arrange the process.

• Return requests must be made within 7 days; items must be returned within 14 days.

 

Invoicing and VAT

All artworks sold on this website are created and sold directly by the artist.

• For shipments within Italy, a reduced VAT rate of 5% applies according to Italian tax law (Article 9 of Decree‑Law No. 95 of 30 June 2025)

• For sales to private customers in other European Union countries, the VAT rate applied corresponds to the rate in force in the customer’s country, in accordance with EU e-commerce regulations and, if applicable, the OSS (One Stop Shop) scheme.

• For shipments to non-EU countries (exports), the sale is VAT-exempt under Article 8 of DPR 633/1972.

If you have a valid EU VAT number, different invoicing rules may apply.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. 

 

U.S. Collectors:

Original artworks and photographs are exempt from tariffs (April 2025, IEEPA). Purchases proceed without additional duties.

This exemption is grounded in U.S. law specifically, the latest tariffs enacted in April 2025 under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), a statute that explicitly prohibits restrictions on cultural and informational materials. These include original artworks, prints, photographs, and other expressive works.

We have confirmed this with both our logistics and customs processing partners, whose guidance is clear: collectors in the United States will not face any additional duties or tariffs when purchasing and importing original artworks from abroad. The shopping experience remains seamless and uninterrupted.

This exemption is not incidental; it reflects long-standing protections designed to preserve and celebrate the free flow of cultural and informational materials across borders.
