How to Commission a Piece
Commissioning a painting is a personal and collaborative process.
Each bespoke artwork is created through a thoughtful dialogue, shaped by space, material and emotion.
Below you’ll find an overview of how a commission typically unfolds.
STEP I — Inspiration & Dialogue
Most commissions begin with a connection to an existing work.
You may be drawn to a specific painting, a texture, or a quiet atmosphere within my portfolio.
Inspiration can also come from your space, your travels, or the feeling you wish the artwork to hold.
From this exchange, the piece naturally takes shape within my visual language.
STEP II — Size, Palette & Materiality
Dimensions and palette are defined together, always in relation to the space the artwork is meant to inhabit.
A custom digital palette is shared for approval before the painting begins.
Texture and material presence play a central role in my work and are considered an integral part of each commission.
STEP III — Timeline & Confirmation
Once the direction is defined, you’ll receive a detailed confirmation including pricing and timeline.
A 50% deposit secures the commission and studio time.
Creation typically takes 6–8 weeks, depending on availability and the nature of the work.
STEP IV — Creation & Final Approval
The painting is created entirely by hand in my studio.
Upon completion, you’ll receive final images and a short video for approval before shipment.
Should any refinement be needed, we will address it together to ensure the artwork feels complete and true to your vision.
Framing Options
Selected works can be completed with modern floater frames, available in carefully chosen finishes.
All framed pieces arrive fully assembled and ready for installation.
Previously Sold Works
On rare occasions, collectors inquire about a work inspired by a piece that is no longer available.
When appropriate, I may accept a reinterpretation — never a replica — allowing the original artwork to remain unique while creating a new, one-of-a-kind piece.
Delivery & Care
All artworks are shipped via insured DHL Express, ready to hang and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
