Yes. You will get the painting with hardware for hanging on the back (hooks and rope or steel cable) and you can hang it right away (ready to hang).

IS THE PAINTING SHIPPED WITH A FRAME?

Frames are not included in painting price.
Artworks are painted on the edges and are provided with hardware for hanging on the back (hooks and rope).
If you are interested in frames, please have a look to dedicated section (https://www.simeoniartstudio.com/frames)on my shop where you can choose color and size and the painting will arrive framed.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT FRAME OPTION?

The frame should be chosen based on the colors of subject, personal taste, location in a specific environment.

The floater frames proposed by the Studio in collaboration with our trusted framer,  are contemporary and minimalist, so not too flashy. 
Elegant floater frames in linden wood. Please note that silver and gold frames are not painted but made with the traditional  gilding technique in gold leaf and silver leaf. You can view framing finishes here.(https://www.simeoniartstudio.com/frames)
You can select your frame option directly on the shop page of the painting you want and you will receive your artwork framed ready to hang.
Frames are handmade by a framer, is possible change color or delete the frame order, within 7 days from order confirmation. After this period no frame changes are possible.

CUSTOM ORDER

Here's how it works:
1- You can place the order for the painting by selecting the size and coloryou desire. The artwork will be created for you, so if you want, you can customize it. The artwork is stretched, painted on the sides and provided with hardwere to hang it on the back (hooks and steel cable). If you need the frame also, you can choose it from the section of my shop and you will receive the framed painting, ready to hang.
2- I will send you the order confirmation with the details.
3- If everything is ok, I will start creating your artwork. I need 6-8 weeks to make the painting.
4- Before shipping, I will send you some pictures and a video for approval, and only if you are satisfied with your painting will I proceed with insured DHL Express shipping. If you are not fully satisfied, we will work together to create the perfect piece. Should I be unable to meet your vision in any way, you will receive a full refund.
Delivery times are 1-3 working days for Europe and 5-8 working days for the rest of the world. Just a polite reminder that once I have shipped your item the shipping time is out of my hands, delays due to customs are unfortunate but do happen time to time, particularly at this difficult period. I thank you in advance for your politeness in respect to shipping enquiries!

INSURANCE
All my paintings are fully insured.
Please check your package carefully when you receive it, make sure it's in good conditions. If any damage is present, please take whole and detailed pictures before open the packaging and take also pictures of the damaged content. Contact me within 24 hours, the evidences you provided are essential for claiming insurance and get refund. For details on insurance coverage, please see "Frequently Asked Questions" on my shop.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Artworks maintenance
Used materials are high professional & quality oil and acrylic colors on  high quality gallery professional cotton canvas.

The sides are painted and make the artwork ready to hang, giving it a modern and contemporary look.

The pictorial layers are very resistant to light and the painting is protected by a transparent varnish that will keep it intact over time.
It is normal for the canvas to lose its natural tension over time. This is due to the humidity of the air and the temperature changes. To restore it to its original tension state, gently tap the wooden wedges on the back.

Do not hang your canvas painting outside, in areas of high humidity, or too close to heat source.
Do not place anything on top of the canvas or lay your canvas with the front facing down.

It is best to protect the works on paper with glass or plexiglass.

Frames maintenance
Lacquer frame: For cleaning, gently wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth.

Gold and silver leaf frame: Manufacturing of this product has been realized with hand crafted procedures and not industrial. Some small imperfections and ripples of the surface are deliberately present and they are characteristic of a handmade production that do not reduce the value of the product but ensure the advantage proving the handmade manufacturing 
procedure.
Wipe the frame with a dry, soft cloth.

PACKAGING

The paintings are packed with various layers of cardboard, bubble wrap, foam rubber and polystyrene.
Paper works are shipped in flat or rolled cardboard, depending on the size and weight of the paper.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY TIMES

Accepted Answer

I do my best to respect shipping times showed in the order confirmation.
I ship all paintings via fast DHL Express. Delivery usually takes about 1-2 business days for Europe and 3-7 business days for the other countries. All paintings are packed carefully in a strong cardboard box, shipped with DHL.
A tracking number will be sent to you.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
Please note that I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

INSURANCE

Accepted Answer

All my paintings are fully insured.
Insurance:
Artwork lost in shipping:
-Painting is lost before it arrives to your address, you will get a full refund.
-Painting is lost after it delivered to your address, insurance do NOT cover it. The buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Damage:
-Painting is damaged: You will have a refund for the full cost of the painting.
-Frame is damaged: You will have a refund of the cost of the frame.

Please check your package carefully when you receive it, make sure it's in good conditions. If any damage is present, please take whole and detailed pictures before open the packaging and take also pictures of the damaged content. Contact me within 24 hours, the evidences you provided are essential for claiming insurance and get refund.

CUSTOMS AND IMPORT TAXES

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. 
For Our U.S. Collectors
Original artworks and photographs remain exempt from the recently announced tariffs on U.S. imports.
This exemption is grounded in U.S. law specifically, the latest tariffs enacted in April 2025 under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA),() a statute that explicitly prohibits restrictions on cultural and informational materials.() These include original artworks, prints, photographs, and other expressive works.
We have confirmed this with both our logistics and customs processing partners, whose guidance is clear: collectors in the United States will not face any additional duties or tariffs when purchasing and importing original artworks from abroad. The shopping experience remains seamless and uninterrupted.
This exemption is not incidental; it reflects long-standing protections designed to preserve and celebrate the free flow of cultural and informational materials across borders.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Accepted Answer

I gladly accept returns and cancellations.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Conditions of return: If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Contact me within: 7 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 48 hours of purchase
I don't accept exchanges
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
I would like to let you know that before shipping the artwork, I'll send you some pictures and a video of the painting for approval before shipping.

WHAT VAT RATE IS APPLIED TO THE PURCHASE OF ARTWORKS AND DOES IT VARY DEPENDING ON THE SHIPPING COUNTRY?

All artworks sold on this website are created and sold directly by the artist.
 • For shipments within Italy, a reduced VAT rate of 10% applies according to Italian tax law (DPR 633/1972, Table A, Part III, no. 127-septiesdecies).
 • For sales to private customers in other European Union countries, the VAT rate applied corresponds to the rate in force in the customer’s country, in accordance with EU e-commerce regulations and, if applicable, the OSS (One Stop Shop) scheme.
 • For shipments to non-EU countries (exports), the sale is VAT-exempt under Article 8 of DPR 633/1972.
If you have a valid EU VAT number, different invoicing rules may apply.
