Metal is memory and intimacy. Growing up around metalwork, I learned to perceive beauty in imperfection and in the marks time leaves on surfaces. Each application of copper, bronze, silver, or gold leaf tells a story of oxidation, transformation, and life’s traces. This work mirrors us: light dazzles and fascinates, surfaces shift, yet beauty endures and deepens. In creating these pieces, I feel time flowing with me, conveying the certainty that every mark, every scar, renders what we touch—and what we are—truly unique.
