This painting was conceived as a slow emergence.
From a luminous, pearly ground, the surface begins to rise, layer after layer, as if guided by an inner tide. The waves do not cross the canvas. They surface from it. Silver appear like traces of light held within matter, never fully still, never fully revealed.
The work changes as it is observed.
Light does not simply rest on it, it travels through it. Colors from the surrounding space are absorbed, returned, transformed.
There is no fixed horizon here, only a continuous becoming.
A sense of quiet expansion.
A rhythm that belongs more to breathing than to water.
This is not a depiction of movement, but a place where movement happens.
Where painting becomes a threshold, and the surface becomes a living field of light.
