Limen takes its name from the Latin word for threshold—a place of transition where one state gives way to another. At its centre, a vertical band of hand-applied bronze leaf emerges from a richly textured surface, becoming a quiet focal point that draws the eye inward.
The dark, tactile ground is traversed by fine linear textures that subtly catch the light, while the bronze leaf reveals shifting reflections as the viewer moves. Never static, the surface changes with its surroundings, allowing light to become an active element of the composition.
